Finnish leading telecom operator Elisa Corporation (OMXH: ELI1V) had an outstanding year 2006, says the company’s CEO Veli-Matti Mattila. During the year, revenue grew by 14 %.
Broadband subscription increased by a fifth. 3G service bundles were a particular success as well, renewing the handset base, and increasing the use of forerunning new services.
The news that Elisa’s personnel fund is to receive a 6 M€ bonus obviously makes your blogger particularly happy. The joy is shared by a quarter of a million shareholders, who will receive a 1,50 € dividend per share. Nevertheless, the market reacted with a 4 % drop in Elisa’s share price.
