- Nokia’s net sales grew to 9.856 GEUR (9.507 GEUR in Q1/2006)
- Operating profit shrunk to 1.272 GEUR(1.367 GEUR in Q1/2006)
- Earnings per share (basic as well as diluted) was 0.25 EUR (0.25 EUR in Q1/2006)
As the results were published, Nokia’s share price, 17.55 EUR at yesterday’s (18 Apr 2007) Helsinki closing, and 17.45 EUR at today’s (19 Apr 2007) Helsinki opening, first fell further to 17.20 EUR. Now the price however seems to have stabilized around 17.80 EUR.
Since the stock seemed overvalued, as often is the case with Nokia just before results are published, I had expected a dive down to 17 EUR, and then some more due to stops being triggered. Evidently, this didn’t quite happen, so my buy order wasn’t executed. Can’t win all the time…
