It uses the existing mains wiring of the house, so there's no need to put any more wires in fitting it. I have this system in my house. It took 3 hours work from an electrician to put 4 units. My insurance company gave great discount for having Fidepro- I'll get the system free of charge within 6 years. I think every house should have the same protection.
