Computing dictionary, 61 languages, 12,400 terms, 0 €

Have you ever struggled with getting a software-related translation just right? Just today, I was looking for an as-official-as-possible Finnish translation of the Windows® right-click menu (or context menu, as it is sometimes called).

Well, I found it, and much more, in the Microsoft Terminology Translations spreadsheet, available for free download on the Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) website. From $OEM$ to Zulu and from Arabic to Vietnamese, the CSV file is an awesome dictionary, far from confined to Microsoft-specific terms. It is likely to become one of my favourite tools, and I hope you will find it useful as well.

What are your experiences regarding online ICT glossaries — this one and/or others? Please post your comments!
