The public prosecutor has officially charged Susan Ruusunen (formerly Kuronen) with invasion of personal reputation. This decision was, of course, shall we say foreseeable.
Ms. Ruusunen had recently written a memoir of her courtship with the Dear Leader. She had then taken her texts to a printer not licensed by the Party. The publisher of the book, having conspired to print the memoirs on paper, and to distribute it for money in a futile attempt to infect the people while obtaining profits that could have enabled future production of additional undesirable material, has received the same charges as Ms. Ruusunen.
Knowing that the Dear Leader, who is the sun of the nation and of mankind, will, through his Party, himself disseminate any information that is good for us, we are outraged at the traitorousness exhibited by Ms. Ruusunen and the capitalist publisher. Only the harshest possible punishment will satisfy the people that they will be safe from such impudent attacks from within our society.
In other news, the Dear Leader has inaugurated a new school in Artjärvi (population 1540), a county the Party has led from one glorious achievement to another. Demonstrating his world-renowned genius in class scheduling, the Dear Leader provided on-site guidance, instructing the cadres that school should begin at exactly the same time of day for all students every day, regardless of grade. As he pronounced these words, lilacs burst into new bloom in September, showing that nature itself stands in awe of our Dear Leader’s giftedness.
