Is anyone still unclear on the motive for the recent mass homicide at a Finnish school? The WBC would like to inform you that an angry God punished “atheistic Scandinavians” for “pushing the fag agenda”.
WBC, based in Kansas, USA, explains that Finland “shares Sweden’s fondness for sodomites”, and therefore is “a Land of the Sodomite Damned”. What’s more, Finland and Sweden are not the only countries affected. There is also Canada, Ireland, Mexico, and even the USA itself.
I’m not sure I understand the WBC’s selection criteria. As far as I can remember, Iran is the world’s only country to have declared they have no homosexuality. Maybe the WBC could settle on godlovesiran.com and godhatestherestoftheworld.com, instead of wasting their breath specifically on every new country they hear about on the news.
What do you think about this bizarre church? Please post your comments!

I also wrote a Wikipedia paragraph about the WBC flyer. No commentary there, just a matter-of-fact mention and a link. It was promptly removed as “inflammatory”.
Even though I disagree with the WBC, I am very concerned about the censorship they are facing all over the planet. As George Orwell wrote, liberty means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

Wtfbbq is this?
Iran is the straightest country in the world?
Well, better to live with gays than terrorists.
RIP those finnish students.
YMCA hard from Iran!
I’m happy with the fact that WBC is relatively unknown here in Finland. The Jokela shooting was a tragedy, leaving many students scarred for life. This hate group who call themselves Christians (a lie itself - not one Baptist institution recognizes WBC as a Bible-believing fellowship) sadly, has made headlines in the evening news even here. The local media swept it under the carpet immediately in attempt to spare the suffering community from further devastation.
WBC founder Phelps’ followers say they are protected by the First Amendment. I really can’t believe they are serious with their opinions and beliefs. Are they trying to pull off a twisted joke or are they for real?
