Security software manufacturer Norman today raised their Internet threat level to medium, indicating a particular danger for a significant number of people and/or organizations.
The upgrade is mainly due to the following issues in Microsoft® software:
- An unpatched vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer® version 7 was reported today (10 December 2008). Exploits are available publicly.
- An unpatched vulnerability in Microsoft WordPad was reported yesterday (9 December 2008).
