This weekend will show an important upgrade to Elisa’s (OMXH: ELI1V) SMTP forwarding services. These servers receive incoming email, optionally scan the messages for viruses and/or junk mail, and then relay the messages to the recipient’s own servers (that often, for security reasons, are not directly accessible from the Internet).
Note that if your mail instead arrives at a mailbox on Elisa’s servers (mail.kolumbus.fi), you are not affected by the interruption.
